The Pan-European Corridor V railway line connects Lisbon and Kiev and touches many European countries. The paper present focuses on the Turin-Lyon section where French and Italian authorities jointly work on this huge infrastructure project while applying different approaches. While there are provisions for a public debates on such issues in France, there is no similar institutional framework in Italy. Hence, the analysis allows to compare the dynamics of the public debate in two democratic systems with different public decision-making systems and political cultures. Baudemont, le Pré-de-la-Bordonne (Saône-et-Loire) : sépultures et mobilier danubien de la première moitie du ve siècle

A necropolis at Baudemont (Saône-et-Loire) that was partially excavated in 1894 has revealed approximately fifteen graves datable to the end of the 4th and 5th centuries ad. Others seem to have been emptied during the first half of the 19th century. The discovery of a negative of the objects collected in 1894 indicates the pieces originating in the danubian area, which probably reflects the presence of a group of eastern Germans among those buried in the necropolis. These discoveries offer new perspectives on the Gallic context during the 5th century.

In the period between September 2008 and February 2009, we evaluated with knee radiography a group of 30 patients with known knee osteoarthritis (OA). For each patient, two weight-bearing views of the knee were acquired, the first with a standard antero-posterior (AP) technique, the latter with a posteroanterior (PA) technique with a 10° skull-caudal incidence. The radiographs obtained were evaluated blinded by two radiologist who assessed the medial femoro-tibial width (FTW). Augustodunum, civitas Aeduorum, roman city founded under the reign of Augustus, was equipped with four roman city gates : the gate of Arroux and the gate of Saint André, both well preserved, the gate of Saint Andoche which sole remaining part is a flanking tower, and the gate of Rome, destroyed long ago.The heart of this study lies in the stratigraphic reading of those gates structure and in thoughts about the building site of Autun’s city gates operating process.
